[mnet-devel] about releasing Mnet v0.6.2

I'm leaving tomorrow for CodeCon!
I want to be able to tell people who ask that binary packages of
Mnet v0.6.2-STABLE-THE-FINAL-RELEASE are available on the web. On the other
hand, I don't want to send out a Release Announcement which could result in a
flood of new users while I am away from my office.
So how about if we finish the current "vice versa patch application" process,
finish the "what happened to msg agj3x" debugging, do a few more hours of
testing, and then we mutually agree that v0.6.2 is completely frozen and the
next packages built will be v0.6.3-UNSTABLE packages. (Note: not by me! I'm
switching to v0.7.)
Then after CodeCon we'll send out a Release Announcement and see how well v0.6.2
scales up using its new decentralized metatracking. :-)
Regards,
Zooko
