[mnet-devel] MT return (was Re: releasing v0.6.2)

From my point of view the MT is much closer to 0.6x (which seems to remain
'mnet' in the tree) than 0.7 (seems to remain 'mnet_new' for now...), and
0.7 might not even want to have integrated such code.
So I would suggest to drop it into 0.6 tree, which should be the easiest
to do for now, and then there is still time to decide how much 0.7 needs
to interfere with it.
Just my two cents...
Getting MT back in the tree is definitely great news!
