[mnet-devel] design by contract

What do you guys think of the preconditions and invariants idea, as described 
in the coding standards?

The Python developers on the python-dev list are discussing the idea of adding 
such things to the core language.  (I doubt it will happen anytime soon if at 
all.)

I was thinking I could give them some feedback about how people do those 
things in the current version of Python, but I'm not sure if anyone other than 
me really likes the precondition-and-invariant things in Mnet code right now.
