Right. It's too tough a nut to crack. Make
it work without payments, then address those
later, would be my (free) advice.

No, I am not suggesting that! What I would
suggest is you look at the gold world, where
there are established payment systems, if
you needed one today. I'd avoid PayPal,
they tend to revoke, they are mostly behind
the game on all sorts of scams, and revokes
have a way of ruining your business...
Sadly, IGs (internet golds) don't often use our
Java SOX stuff as much as they might :-)
We have one in progress, but it's not ready
for the big bad world.
But, IGs are moving to a view of providing
standardised inputs, such as our xlm-x.org
(which *does* coincidentally bridge to our stuff)
and which is quite close to Goldmoney.com's
interface, so if you were to implement one,
you'd be close with the other. [ If you asked
for a recommendation of which gold, today,
I'd say Goldmoney. ]
In terms of Python, shadowcash is written
in it, but it will a) have an xml-rpc binding,
and b) has no actual running monies at the
moment.
So what I would suggest is convince us or
do yourself an XML/X package in Python,
and then you'll be ready ... But, as I say,
leave it for now, get the rest of your code
going.

Oh that. Don't ask me, I might give you an
answer you don't like ;-)
