[mnet-devel] v0.6.1 release schedule

One week from today on February 9, I'm going to make a branch from CVS HEAD.  
That branch will be ultimately be released as v0.6.1-STABLE.  But first, I'll 
review all bugs remaining in the "v0.6.1" group on the bug tracker [1] and those 
that aren't "release critical" will get bumped into another group.  Any that are 
release critical will remain there until someone fixes them.  Once the bug 
tracker's "v0.6.1" group is empty, then I'll ask Build Managers to build and 
upload packages for their favorite platforms.  Once packages for the 
"announcement-critical" platforms [2] are in place, I'll send out the Release 
Announcement.

I'll write up a ChangeLog tomorrow and publish it to this mailing list (by 
looking at the bug tracker's "closed" bugs in the "v0.6.1" group.  If you think 
something should go in the ChangeLog and it isn't listed among those closed bugs 
then please let me know).

[2] Here are the operating system stats based on the most recent Carnivore 
    report:

    win32    26
    Debian   13
    SuSE      8
    linux     4
    FreeBSD   2
    RedHat    1
    darwin    1

    Therefore I hereby arbitrarily declare w32, Debian, and SuSE to be 
    "announcement-critical".  If Mac OS X has wxGUI integration in time then 
    I will hold up the announcement for OS X packages, too.
