Note that we aren't implementing any sub-block-transfer thingies at this point.  
(I expect that the currently implemented full-block-transfers will work fine for 
the forseeable future.)

I suspect that Tschechow specified blocklets in order to get cryptographic 
authentication on each transferred unit.

Another solution for cryptographic authentication of sub-block units would be a 
hash tree.  e.g. THEX:
